Matte Lipstick

My second MAC lipstick after Kinda Sexy. Love the color, red with blue undertone, jadi nggak bikin gigi terlihat kuning. Warnanya juga nggak terlalu terang jadi termasuk warna lipstik merah yang "aman". Sayangnya bila dibandingin sama liquid lipsticks yang lagi trend skrg, staying powernya menurutku masih kalah dan harus reapply terus, apalagi setelah makan. My first red lipstick! Shade blue undertone nya nggak bikin gigi keliatan kuning. Warna merahnya juga nggak terlalu ngejreng gitu jadi pas buat sehari-hari. Sayangnyaaa, lasting powernya lemah banget ya? Kalau dipake makan langsung bleber kemana-mana. Memang kalah kualitasnya kalau dibandingkan sama matte lipsticks saat ini.

Lipstick merah yang paling oke warnanya menurut aku. Ngga terlalu 'ngejreng' dan ngga terlalu gelap. Warnanya bisa masuk di skintone apapun dan ngga berkesan norak sih. hehehe. Texture nya yang matte bikin tahan lama di bibir tp ngga bikin kering juga.

The best (red) lipstick ever!! Ini merupakan lipstick merah dan lipstick MAC pertama yang saya beli. Waktu itu belinya cuma gara2 packaging-nya Wonder Woman (krn saya pencinta Wonder Woman hehe).. Anyway, suka banget dengan warna merah, it brightens my face.. I don't know how. Bahkan ketika sedang tidak pakai makeup sekalipun, lipstick ini udah cukup bikin wajah terlihat cling. Saya juga punya Ruby Woo, tapi warna merahnya seperti terlalu mencolok dan tekstur retro matte itu lebih kering dibandingkan tekstur matte Russian Red ini. Love.. love.. love.. Definitely must have red lipstick!

This is my 1st RED lipstick from MAC that I purchased. At first i doubt that it will look too bright and too RED that my mom would complaints :p. I remembered I had to think many days before having the courage going to MAC counter and yes I bought it :D Until Today, I have zero regret ! Russian Red is a Ture Red colour with blue undertone. So it is a solid red with blue-ish tone. It can be worn for casual, playful, seductive and glamour too. It fits for all skin tone. This is iconic lipstick for MAC. It is Matte and Dry. For those having sensitive lips; try applying lip balm before applying this. If this is your first time wearing red, I suggest use a lip brush. Or if you have lip liner apply you liner first. It will help you to avoid "over-applying" the lipstick, and will look subtle too. Finally blot it with tissue to remove excess. The lipstick lasts long, and leave small stain in your cups. But because its matte, you do not need to re-apply many times. Be ready to receive compliments ! Your girlfriend might also borrow yours too :D *My friends do :D Texture: MAC Matte Lipstick. I'm not so into MAC lips, but exception for this one. I dont like it. I LOVE IT. The red shade is just right for any occasions and it makes me feel more confident every time I wear it. Surprisingly, my lips can accept the formula and it just glides well when I apply it and voila, the color just fits me so much! Definitely will purchase it again when I finish my tube.

I've tried and worn many red lipsticks yet I always go back to Russian Red because it is fail proof. The blue-based red is striking yet surprisingly wearable. I always always get compliment whenever I wear it. Dan udah liat Russian Red dipakai orang dengan berbagai warna kulit dan jatuhnya tetep bagus dan seksi. It's like a LBD for me, if I don't know what lipstick to wear, I go with Russian Red. The only complaint is it does dry out my lips as almost all MAC lipsticks do.

The all-time favorite matte red lipstick of the masses, loved by everyone and their mothers. This is one of those universally flattering shades that looks good on just about every skin tone, which is why there's a romantic, magical appeal to Russian Red. If you've never worn red lipstick before, this is a good place to start. PROS: matte, but will not dry out lips at all. CONS: (I spent 20 minutes trying to find something negative to say about the lipstick and came up with nothing)
